Generation Z and Hyperconnectivity
Most of the time, we hear about millenials and how to market to them. While we're still trying to get a handle on them and how to market to them, Gen Z is up next. Snapchat recently went into depth with a marketing study and found some interesting trends, so if you're marketing to this target audience, listen up! Gen Z is a super creative group that are setting a whole new tone for visual consumption and culture. Like Millenials, they are even more focused on social responsiblity. They are known for being hyper-connected to the online space and are highly opinionated. They are also big on individuality and the discovery of identity. What's interesting here is that, if brands can get an understanding of what issues Gen Z members support the most and align themselves with a certain cause or movement, it could be a key to success! Regardless, best to get an understanding of Gen Z key trends before the next major shift in marketing.
